ESOL International - Admission Criteria
To apply for an English language course at the London School of Social and Management Sciences, you must meet the following admission requirements:
- Age Requirement
Applicants must be 16 years of age or older. - English Language Certification
You are required to provide official, verifiable evidence of any previous English language certificates. - Purpose and Benefits

If you are under the age of 18, you must:- Confirm arrangements for your travel and accommodation in the UK.

How to Apply for Admission
To apply for admission, complete and submit the online application form available at LSMS International Student Application.
Once your application form is received, the Admissions Office will contact you to request the following supporting documents:
- Passport Copy
A clear copy of your passport (first two pages showing your personal details and official signatures). - Educational Transcripts
Copies of your academic transcripts. - English Language Certification
Official, verifiable evidence of any prior English language qualifications or attempts (e.g., IELTS, Pearson, etc.). - Purpose and Benefits Statement
Documentation demonstrating how this course will benefit you personally, professionally, or academically. Examples may include:- A conditional offer letter from a university requiring a specific English level.
- A professional or social activity requiring improved English proficiency for advancement.
- A career development path necessitating advanced English language skills.
- Previous Efforts
Details of the steps you have already taken to improve your English language skills prior to applying for this course. - Financial Evidence
A statement confirming your financial ability to cover the cost of studying in the UK, including:- Evidence of sufficient funds in your bank account.
- Verifiable details of the sources of these funds.
Please note that financial statements from third parties will not be accepted unless you are under the age of 18.

Admission Interview
As the final step in the admissions process, you will participate in an interview conducted by a member of the English Language Department to assess your English language proficiency. The interview will be arranged through a platform convenient for you, such as phone, WhatsApp, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams.
Admission Offer
If your application is successful, you will receive a conditional offer letter. Upon fulfilling the specified conditions, you will be issued an Unconditional Course Enrolment Letter, which can be used to apply for a visa.
Applying Short Term Study Visa
You can apply for a Short-term study visa to study English language in the UK. This visa is for English language courses lasting longer than 6 months and up to 11 months.
